The Roommate

Sound Designer, A1 - The Colonial Theatre Inc.

Directed by Marion Markham | Book by Jen Silverman

I am responsible for the rental, operation, and maintenance of all sound equipment for this outdoor theatrical production. I oversee the live mix for 5 performances a week, take care of all necessary micing and comms operations, and directly coordinate with the stage manager and director on the design of the show, including in-person voiceover recording sessions.

Equipment used: Yamaha CL1 console; Shure wireless; Meyer PA; Clear-Com Freespeak II.

From plays and festivals to Broadway-scale musicals and national tours, I have demonstrated strong skills in system design, rental planning, signal flow documentation, and sound effect development. I have proven myself as both an effective designer and leader, able to adhere to time and budget constraints, train new members, and reliably troubleshoot issues across all equipment.

Other Audio Work

As an A2, monitor engineer, or run crew member, I have proven my skills in rapid troubleshooting of wireless Sennheiser and Shure microphones, RF frequency coordination, and microphone placement on actors. I have proven my ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with performers and the technical crew, and to spot issues before they arise, delivering smooth performances.
